Commission publishes new report on the situation of Roma, Gypsies and Travellers in Europe

The results of a major study on the situation of Roma, Gypsies and Travellers in Europe are now available.  The 50-page report looks at the conditions Roma, Gypsies and Travellers face in a range of fields, including education, employment, housing and healthcare. It also gives recommendations to the EU institutions, Member States and civil society organisations on how to strengthen their policies and actions regarding the Roma.

The study was carried out by a consortium comprising Focus Consultancy, the European Roma Rights Centre, and the European Roma Information Office.  It was co-funded through the anti-discrimination and social inclusion programmes of the European Commission. The report is published in English, Romani, French and German.
